California Solar Initiative - Rebate Program Info

Here is an Example of the Savings Possible*:

Project Cost = $150,000

Monthly Energy Savings =             $3,715

Lease Payment/ 60 Months =       -$3523

Monthly Net Positive Cash Flow =   $192

Annual Net Positive Cash Flow =    $2304
(First 5 years)

10 Year Cumulative Savings =      $222,900
(No utility payments for second 5 years)

After 5 years you will own your energy equipment outright and no longer have lease payments -- plus you will be able to enjoy substantial energy savings on into the future.

In California, you can receive a rebate of up to 30% of your approved energy projects cost within 60 days of its completed installation.

Federal Tax Credits could add an additional 30% or more to your total cost savings for your Green Energy project.

*This savings does not take into consideration available tax incentives, rebates and/or tax credits. It also does not take into account the possible Tax Benefits of Leasing your equipment. Utilizing a lease will allow your business to write-off the monthly lease payments as an business expense, further reducing your overall cost. Consult with your tax advisor for actual savings. Longer lease terms are also available to well-qualified lessees. Term is 60 months with $1.00 Buy-Out, at the end of lease you will then own the equipment free and clear. Remember this is an example and your actual figures will vary depending on many other factors.
